Re-opening of the Honorary Consul office of Dr. Sunil Gamage was held on the 24th of March 2021 at VIP Building, Joso City, Ibaraki. This occasion was graced by H.E. Ambassador of Sri Lanka Mr. Sanjiv Gunasekara. The officials of the Embassy and the Executives of the Sri Lanka Association in Japan were also present at this event. H.E. Ambassador expressed his valuable ideas regarding maintaining friendship & Economic relations between Sri Lanka and Japan and also the services that should be rendered to the Sri Lankan community in the Prefectures. As the Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Japan, Dr. Sunil Gamage expressed that his vision is to serve the Sri Lankans in Japan and also to serve Sri Lanka and Japan in Win Win situation with the help of his Japanese friends , Professionals and the Politicians specially in the field of High Technology of Japan, under the guidance and the advice of the Sri Lankan Embassy.
