“Binara Poya Day program” was conducted by the most venerable reverend Mawarelle Bhaddhiya at Kanagawa Sugatha temple in Japan yesterday.
Sri Lanka Association in Japan (SLAJ) organized the poya day program with very limited members to avoid unnecessary gatherings with this Corvid pandemic situation. The program was telecast online via Zoom & Facebook live.
During this program, Mr. Roshan Gamage, Minister of Sri Lanka Embassy Tokyo donated “The Tripitaka Books” to the temple.
“බිනර පොහොය දින වැඩසටහන” ඊයේ ජපානයේ කනගාවා සුගත විහාරස්ථානයේදී අති පූජනීය පූජ්‍ය මාවරැල්ලේ භද්දිය විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලැබීය.
ජපානයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා සංගමය (SLAJ) මෙම කොරෝනා වෛරස් වසංගත තත්ත්වය සමඟ අනවශ්‍ය රැස්වීම් වලක්වා ගැනීම සඳහා ඉතා සීමිත සාමාජිකයින් සමඟ පොහොය දින වැඩසටහන සංවිධානය කළේය. මෙම වැඩසටහන Zoom සහ ෆේස්බුක් හරහා සජීවීව අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්සේ විකාශය කෙරිණි.
මෙම වැඩසටහන අතරතුරදී, ටෝකියෝවේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලයේ අමාත්‍ය රොෂාන් ගමගේ මහතා “ත්‍රිපිටක පොත්” විහාරස්ථානයට පරිත්‍යාග කළේය.
